When children have learnt the skills needed to read we need to develop their comprehension skills. This session will look at the various ways we can teach comprehension instead of just testing it.

Catherine Gilliland has previously delivered webinars through Dublin West, Tralee, West Cork and Laois Education Centres. Catherine was a  speaker at the World Literacy Summit and is published in the area of Literacy. Catherine has 20 years’ experience of training teachers at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and has also delivered a very successful Literacy Summer School in West Cork.
