This webinar is a repeat of the webinar held on 01.09.2021

This webinar will demonstrate the merits and challenges associated with each model of in-class support. Discuss of the current level of provision of in-class support in their schools. There will be a presentation of a variety of planning templates for the various in-class support models in literacy and numeracy. The webinar will examine and review template documents to support the planning and implementation of in-class support models. The tutor will also present suitable strategies for differentiation.

  • Implementing Models of Co-Teaching in Mainstream Primary Classrooms. Advantages & disadvantages of in - class models of provision
  • Models of in-class support.
  • Review of current practice
  • Collaborative planning
  • Strategies for group creation / differentiation
  • Review & monitoring of progress.

Learning Outcomes -

  • Participants will become familiar with the various models of in-class support.
  • Be aware of the vital role of collaborative planning in the provision of in-class support models
  • Be familiar with planning and review templates for a variety of in-class support models in literacy and numeracy.
  • Become confident in the application of various differentiation strategies to support pupils with SEN when implementing in-class approaches.
