Promoting Digital Citizenship, Media Literacy, Wellbeing Online & Rights Online
 
This interactive workshop equips teachers with essential resources and strategies to help students navigate the online world safely, responsibly, and with kindness. A key focus of the session will be Bí Cineálta, the Wellbeing Framework and the new Webwise Online Safety Review Tool.
 
The workshop will explore three key areas:
  • Digital Citizenship & Media Literacy – Practical strategies to develop students’ critical thinking, address mis/disinformation, and integrate digital citizenship into classroom learning.
  • Online Wellbeing & Safety – Examining the impact of the digital world on wellbeing and linking to national strategies and school policies.
  • Online Rights Online - Explore key materials and resources available from Webwise to promote Children's rights and responsibilities online.
Participants will gain actionable insights and ready-to-use resources to promote kindness, responsibility, and informed online engagement among their students.
