Essential Empathy: Building an Understanding of Others
"Only when our clever brain and human heart work together in harmony can we achieve our true potential" Jane Goodall
Teaching empathy in the classroom helps to create an environment where self-compassion, self-awareness, emotional intelligence and genuine respect for others is promoted. Research shows that when young people have empathy there is more classroom engagement, higher academic achievement and lower incidence of bullying. The level of empathy in a classroom has been shown to have an impact on the motivtation levels in the classroom. This webinar will explore how educators can help children to learn the value of being empathetic.
