This course will guide you through real-world problems that are relatable for teenagers. The three days focus on 1) linear patterns 2) quadratic patterns and 3) geometric patterns. On each night, Mr Math Weeney will showcase how you can bring functions and patterns into your classroom, using everyday items and pictures for inspiration. The goal throughout is to grab the students attention and make it competitive and engaging to find the answers. Motivation among your students should increase greatly.

Mr Math Weeney is a Secondary School teacher of Maths and Applied Maths with 11 years experience in various settings, including 7 years in DEIS schools. Having learned through experience, and completing various Creativity-centred courses, he developed the PHATT Maths principle- If you can make a lesson Physical, Humourous, Active, Tech based and in Team, then you're sure to engage all learners.
