Summer Course: Literacy in the Primary Classroom - Insights from Write to Read

What is “Write to Read”?

A: Write to Read is a research initiative designed to support schools and communities designated as disadvantaged (DEIS) to improve children’s motivation and engagement in literacy and to raise literacy levels.

By completing this course you will benefit from the experience of a host of expert tutors who have been involved in this very successful programme.  You will discover new approaches to teaching and assessment of literacy.

Date: 1st to 5th July    Venue: Community School Carrick-on-Shannon
