Acmhainní - Resources

Carrick on Shannon Education Centre has a large amount of resources available to loan to schools.
These resources include BeeBots, Lego WeDo, Knex Kits, Samba Drums, Izak9 and Dyslexia screening tests. There is a refundable deposit of €20 required per box/set of Izac9, BeeBots or Lego WeDo, as these particular resources are expensive and have parts that may be easily mislaid.

We also have a box of artefacts from The National Museum which can be loaned out to schools. There is a refundable deposit of €120 required for the loan of the Museum box.  This can be given in the form of a cheque which will be returned on return of the Box.

ILSA (The Irish Learning Support Association) have a library which is housed in The Centre's library. They have a range of books and tests which schools can borrow.

Our library is currently being updated and houses a wide range of educational and academic material available to teachers.

We also offer a photocopying, binding and laminating service. Please note: We do not offer a drop-in service for laminating and binding services. The items must be dropped off and collected 2/3 days later.

Diversity and Intercultural Education Network Launch

A padlet of resources was put together for the day and it will be added to over time.

The link for the padlet is below and maybe other centres would like to add to their website resources.
