Do you have an accredited First Aid Responder (FAR) in your school? If not this is the course for you.

This 3-day FAR course replaces the former Occupational First Aid Course and is recognised by the Health & Safety Authority (HAS) . This course meets the requirements of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Regulations 2007. Suitable for all school personnel.

Day 1 -  Thursday 1st May 2025

• Accident scene Management
• Incident procedure
• Communication
• Bleeding and Musculoskeletal treatment

Day 2 - Thursday 8th May 2025

• Cardiac First Responder training (CPR and use of the AED) and Choking
• Medical Emergencies including Heart Attack, Stroke, Diabetes, Epilepsy, Asthma, poisoning and Allergic reactions

Day 3 - Thursday 15th May 2025

• Burns and Electric Shock
• Hypo and Hyperthermia
• Information Management and the well being of the First Responder
• Recap, practical and theory assessment

The cost of the course will include the paperwork, Manuals, certification and CPR mask. Lunch provided.
